Happy Halloween!!!!!!

As one of my all-time favorite holidays (well, tied with Christmas and Valentine's Day), I decided to celebrate with some spooOOOOOoooky cupcakes!!!!

A Much Needed Throwback Thursday

I've never been very good about updating web pages, and this page is no different, but I never knew just how bad I was until I checked the Cupcakes Schmupcakes Facebook page and realized that there are a bunch of SUPER CUTE cupcakes posted there from last year that I never shared on this blog (which is, in essence, my real website)!

So, for your enjoyment, check out what we missed from 2015 and 2016!

First up are these Fox and Arrow baby shower cupcakes that are almost too cute to eat (key word being "almost").

Next, we've got these Hot Air Balloon cupcakes (with cake-balls as the balloons) for a different baby shower!

Then, for yet another baby shower (I feel like there is an ongoing theme here), we've got green and blue cupcakes for a baby boy!
(Note: after further review of my blog, I realized that these actually have been posted here before... but I think they're cute so I'm including them again anyway.)

I believe these came in both Vanilla and Chocolate.

Look forward to next week when I make Lumberjack cupcakes for, you guessed it, another baby shower! It's nice to have a niche.

... everywhere I look around!

Every time I go to a wedding or wedding shower, I always get that song stuck in my head, regardless of whether or not anyone actually plays it!

This week was no different when we toasted the upcoming nuptials of two of my coworkers (from my real, full-time, non-cupcake themed job).

To celebrate the occasion, Cupcakes Schmupcakes supplied the desserts!

Best of all, the glitter and pearls were fully edible!!

Back in Business! For a 2-Year-Old's Birthday!

Well, I hung up my apron a while ago... not necessarily on purpose, just life kind of got in the way.

However, now I'm back and ready to bake!

I decided to jump back in first with cupcakes for a little boy's birthday.
He apparently loves primary colors and cars, which made this order a no-brainer!
