It's Decorative Gourd Season!

Don't you just love Dallas in the fall?

We may not get the beautiful autumn colors of the northeast or, well, any other indicator of it being fall (it got up to 90 degrees this past weekend), but that won't stop us from enjoying traditionally-autumn-based foods!

I'm referring to, of course, pumpkins. With fall comes the onslaught of pumpkin spice everything! Lattes, beers, pizzas, you name it!

Bears, moose, and more bears! Oh my!

I even tried out a new chocolate cupcake recipe that was moist and delicious!! 

The green icing was supposed to be grass.
You be the judge of how well I pulled that off.

The cupcakes even matched the cutlery and decor.

Sure, that may only be because I never got around to ordering
