Cupcakes in a half-shell! Cupcake power!

Let's all sing "Happy Birthday" to young Mason, who turned one year old last month! 

To celebrate, I was asked to make Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cupcakes!

Once again, I'm not great at taking pictures... but we've got our four heroes (Leonardo, Michelangelo, Rafael, and Donatello) and some of the their favorite food: pizza! 
Because it was Mason's first birthday, they wanted to have the "smash cake" for him to dig into, which was fittingly dressed up like a large pepperoni and sausage pizza. 

Kids and grown-ups alike seemed to love eating the faces of these beloved cartoon heroes!
